MEET THE TEAM
BRENT CONRAD
– FOUNDER AND CEO
Brent launched his real estate career at 18, buying his first rental property. He gained early lending experience in the subprime mortgage industry, and after surviving the mortgage crisis, he began flipping distressed homes in the DFW area. In 2013, he founded CR Lending, a private lending company built on transparency, efficiency, and real-world investor experience.
NEAL STEWART
– CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Neal started in the mortgage industry in 2004, moving from the subprime market to Bank of America, and later helping launch a conventional loan division at Pacific Union Financial. After managing a Non-Delegated Correspondent division at Mr. Cooper, he joined CR Lending as Chief Operating Officer, leading operations with expertise and vision.
BRANDI HUDSPETH
– LOAN PROCESSOR
Brandi has accumulated over a decade of experience in the real estate industry. With a background as a transaction coordinator and loan processor, she brings a comprehensive understanding of multiple facets of real estate transactions. Since joining CR Lending in 2019, her attention to detail, ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, and strong organizational skills have proven invaluable. In her role as Loan Processor, Brandi manages every stage of hard-money loans — from assessing borrower eligibility and gathering documentation to coordinating with title, reviewing closing packages, and ensuring smooth funding. Outside of work, Brandi enjoys travel and adventure, often exploring charming small towns with her husband.
KARLA VEGA
– ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Karla has built her career on providing strong administrative support across diverse industries, with experience in executive assistance, purchasing, and office administration. Her skills in organization, communication, and problem-solving have made her a key contributor to CR Lending. Since joining CR Lending in 2023, Karla has taken on a range of responsibilities, including managing draw requests, reviewing documentation, assisting with loan processing and other assistance the team may need. Fluent in English and Spanish, she ensures clients feel supported while helping keep lending operations efficient and seamless. When Karla is not at the office, you’ll find her spending time with her family and friends and being an assistant cheer mom.
